報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介: Marcos Portabella was born on October 14, 1970 in Spain. He received the B.Sc. degree in Physics in 1994 from the University of Barcelona, Spain; the M.Sc. in Remote Sensing in 1995 from the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia, Spain; and the Ph.D. degree in Physics in 2002, from the University of Barcelona, Spain. He is currently leading the satellite winds group at the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC), Barcelona, Spain. His research interests are in active and passive microwave remote sensing. He is specialized in geophysical data interpretation, including calibration, forward modelling, measurement error modelling, non-linear inversion, quality control, and data assimilation. In particular, he is involved in scatterometry and microwave radiometry. Marcos Portabella is a member of several science working teams from NASA, ISRO, ESA, and EUMETSAT. In particular, he is a member of the ESA/EUMETSAT SCA Science Advisory Group (SAG) and the NASA/EUMETSAT International Ocean Vector Winds Science Team (IOVWST).
