報告人簡介:
Dr. Aleixandre Verger (PhD in Physics, University of Valencia, 2008) is a research scientist (Cientifico Titular) at the Desertification Research Centre (CIDE, CSIC-UV-GVA, Valencia, Spain), with 20+ years’ experience in Remote Sensing. His main research interests are in the development and validation of remote sensing algorithms for the retrieval of vegetation biophysical variables, phenology, climate vegetation dynamics, and global change.
He has participated in 30+ research projects and he has been the Pl of 7 of them. He has developed the algorithms for the estimation of LAI and FAPAR within Copernicus Global Land Service and Copernicus Climate Change Service. He has supervised 1 Marie Sklodowska-Curie postdoc and 4 PhDs. He has published 60 papers in high impact SCI journals; 3 book chapters; and more than 100 conference contributions. His h-index is 28 in Scopus (3043 citations), and 33 in Google Scholar (4337 citations). He is currently the coordinator of the CSIC Interdisciplinary Thematic Platform in Remote Sensing PTI-TELEDETECT.
